BARAQ is a smart electrical installation — a system of our own modules that ties lighting, shading, heating, energy consumption, presence detection and safety features into one whole, run from a single app. It is not a set of smart switches; it is a way of wiring the house.

The core is the ioMASTER control unit, connected to the home network. Modules are added according to what the house needs: ioSWIPE (wall touch controller with temperature and humidity sensing, plus CO₂ on the ioSWIPE+), ioRELAY (circuit switching), ioDALI (dimming and colour temperature), ioMULTISENS (presence detection), ioMETEO (outdoor weather station), ioFLOOD (flood detection), ioLED and ioINPUT.

Ideally before the switches, cabling and distribution board are finally decided — that is, before the electrical design. That is the moment when it is settled which circuits are separate, which are dimmable and where the controllers go. You can come to us later, the range of options just narrows.

As a guide, based on three configurations we have actually designed: a two-bedroom apartment (75 m²) from CZK 166,375, a three-bedroom family house (129 m²) from CZK 235,950, and a 150 m² house with solar, a heat pump, heat recovery and a wallbox from CZK 342,430. Prices include 21% VAT; excluding VAT they are CZK 137,500, 195,000 and 283,000. The calculator on this site gives an estimate for your home in a few minutes, with no meeting required. Under the special offer, the first 15 households pay CZK 114,950, 170,610 and 255,794 including VAT (CZK 95,000, 141,000 and 211,400 excluding VAT).

Included: all BARAQ modules for the given house, the control unit, the wall control tablet, the app, system design, scene configuration, commissioning and hand-over training. Not included: 230 V work, cabling, the distribution board, construction preparation, and end devices such as light fittings or blinds.

Service is an annual fee covering updates, remote support and scene changes. The calculator shows an estimate for your home. Under the special offer, the first year of service is free and the fee stays at the 2026 level for as long as you use the system.

Yes. All 230 V work is always carried out by a qualified electrician — either yours, or one we can recommend. That is a safety requirement, not a commercial condition.

Yes. We configure the system and hand it over ready to use, including scenes and automations. Everyday changes — room names, times, scenes or temperatures — you make yourself in the app, with no programming and no special software. For bigger changes, we are glad to help.

The honest answer: it depends on the house, its insulation, the orientation of the windows and above all on how you live in it. Public sources suggest roughly 5–10 % on well-managed heating with setbacks, and about 10–20 % on lighting operation. Automatic shading mainly affects the thermal load of rooms. We do not promise a specific figure — nobody honestly can. Often the bigger gain is not the percentage but seeing, in the consumption overview, what is running in the house for no reason.

Electric heating, gas, heat pumps, solid-fuel boilers and central heating. We support underfloor heating, accumulation tanks, water heaters and heat recovery ventilation. The system controls heating circuits by zone and weekly schedule.

No. The ioSWIPE wall controller has sixteen touch areas and handles both scenes and individual circuits right in the room. The app is for overview and remote access, not the only way to turn on a light. Guests and children do not need to install anything.

ioFLOOD watches for water leaks in risk areas, sends alerts, sounds an alarm and can close motorised valves. ioMETEO protects exterior shading against strong wind. ioMULTISENS detects the presence of people and animals. The system can also simulate presence while the house is empty.

In the Czech Republic and Europe. We could manufacture a third more cheaply elsewhere — we decided not to. It is the more expensive route, but it means control over every unit produced and partners we can call at any time. BARAQ SMART SYSTEMS s.r.o. is based in Brno.
